Collemattoni
Collemattoni takes its name from the farm of the same name, which over time has become the farm's trademark. Collemattoni is located on a hill on the southern side of the commune of Montalcino, a stone's throw from the medieval village of Sant'Angelo.
The farm appears to date back to around the end of the 1600s. The first references to the Bucci family, originally from the small village of Sant'Angelo in Colle, date back to the late 1800s, with Giuseppe Bucci, a ‘hoe-keeper’ at the head of a large family.
Today, the company is managed by Marcello Bucci, with a business philosophy that includes the important use of technology, but with a style that comes from belonging to the place and with the utmost respect for the environment.
