Vinification

Soft pressing of the grapes, which are immediately cooled at 10°C for a few hours. Fermentation in steel vats at 14-16°C for several days. Malolactic fermentation not carried out. The grapes used to produce this falanghina come from the heart of Taburno.

Characteristics

Colour: straw yellow.
Bouquet: extremely fruity and floral with hints of acacia, kaiser pear, dried apricot and candied citrus fruit.
Flavour: dry, soft, with good acid structure and adequate persistence in taste and smell.

Pairings

A wine suitable for non-elaborate but tasty dishes, reminiscent of the mineral sensations of the sea. It also goes well with white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
