The "land amidst the mountains", as Alto Adige was referred to in the past, is one of the most picturesque landscapes in Europe. These high quality wines are dedicated to Johann Tolloy, the host of one of the most notorious taverns of Salorno in the XVIII century.
In the past Salorno, converging point of cultures from the North and the South because of its location along the Brennero way, halfway between Bolzano and Trento, was the ideal resting place after a long day of travel. The significant transit of voyagers sprouted various tourist activities, including taverns, which have significantly characterized the life and history of the area.
