An old-fashioned family tradition
The Righetti family starts working in the wine world at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1909 Angelo Righetti buys some vineyards in the heart of Valpolicella Classica and builds his first vinification winery.
Righettis have always been attached to viticulture and today are at their fourth generation. The company was enlarged in the last years, providing a modern bottling line and spacious rooms for the aging of the wine in French oak barrels and barriques.
The last floor of the country house has always been kept for the grapes wilting, carefully selected by hand and put in little wooden boxes.
Thanks to the experience acquired in the last years and to the careful employment of modern technologies the company today produces high quality wines with unique characteristics, always keeping the traditional style of Valpolicella Classica products.
