Mezzacorona s.c.a.
Mezzacorona Società Cooperativa Agricola is the parent company of Gruppo Mezzacorona. Founded in 1904, it was one of the first growers associations to be organized in Italy.
It is comprised of 2,600 hectares of vineyards in Trentino and Alto Adige, with an annual production of 300,000 quintals of quality grapes which produce 320,000 hectoliters of wine. All vineyards are cultivated using "Integrated Farm Management," an approach that seeks to produce quality grapes while respecting the natural balance of the vines.
Production is white wine oriented (75%) with a special focus on Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay production. The principal red varietal is Teroldego. The wineries utilize state-of-the-art technology to ensure quality and have a storage capacity of 470,000 liters.
To safeguard quality, Mezzacorona owns all trademarks and is the majority shareholder of all companies involved in the sale and promotion of the group's wines.
